CMC company has been a leader in the power generation industry for decades. Following is a mention, not a comprehensive listing of the main projects in reverse chronological order: - Contracting and consultancy projects for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP)
- Monitoring of the construction of USAID (The United States Agency for International Development) financed projects in Syria such as rural schools, provincial water supply, roads, etc. under a direct contractual agreement between CMC Co. and USAID in the early 1980s
- Countless construction projects in the Middle East including design, engineering and feasibility studies for hospitals, schools, hotels, roads, bridges, office and residential buildings for both the public and private sectors
- Collaboration as a local contracting partner with ISOLUX of Spain in building several substations as turnkey projects. The total combined value for these projects was €75,000,000
- Collaboration as a local consultant with several international consulting companies such as Parsons Brinckerhoff of England, ESB of Ireland and MVV of Germany. Projects also included technical and financial evaluation of tenders and writing of technical specification books for tender documents.
- Turnkey construction of Housing and Meeting Hall on a fast track basis with the project development, design, and execution in 6 months with the value of $40,000,000.
- Civil work and erection of multiple power plant by MHI of Japan (1100 MW) and gas power plant by Fiat Avio of Italy (390 MW) and gas power plant conversion to combined cycle by Siemens of Germany (250 MW) for a total combined contract value of about $950,000,000
- Turnkey construction projects including installation and civil work for multiple combined cycle power plant extensions for a total combined contract value of €471,000,000.
